How soon can I start?
Immediately! As soon as you sign up, you'll get access to everything.
Are there mentors inside the community?
Yes! You can ask questions anytime inside the community. Gabriel and Ben (A Chartered Professional Engineer with his own structural practice in Queensland) ae available to help you out.
What prior knowledge is required?
A basic understanding of structural analysis and mechanics of materials is helpful. But don't worry, we can ride you through the journey.
I don't have much time. Can I still complete the program?
Yes. It's completely self paced. We recommend spending just a few hours a week. You can also follow our fast-track version: only practical, no fluff, straight to design.
Do I have to buy software?
No. We use mostly free tools, hand calcs and spreadsheets. When I use SpaceGass, I show how you can follow along using alternatives too.
Is the subscription tax deductible?
Yes. It qualifies as professional development. (But check with your accountant to be sure)
Will I earn CPD points
Yes. I'll issue a certificate once you submit the design work you complete during the course.
